@Cayton Do you think you can explain this to me? Maintain the grade point average and complete the courses and number of units you reported in your application and in any subsequent course updates. You must be in good standing at your last institution of attendance. Does that mean I have to have the exact same GPA I had in the Winter update? or…

My GPA is very low, so I kind of expected this decision. I thought I had a very good personal statement and a couple big life circumstances that could sway the judges, but it was a reach regardless.

I’m happy with Cal Poly Pomona as my backup, and also hopeful about being wait-listed at UCSD. Though, I may try the appeal route with UCLA.

My gpa is right on the average for this major but I think they really liked my personal statement (got regents as well). Before, I was really concerned about my lack of EC’s but I got in anyhow. Would attend 10/10 lol

Thanks for the kind words. Since writing my prior post I also go some news from Cal, looks like my decision there could be delayed until mid-late June. They want completed spring grades and proof of my AA.

@TheUnderdog1

I knew you would! You deserve it!

@flowerchild747

It is kind of subjective, but from what I’ve heard, you basically have to avoid getting D’s, F’s, and too many C’s in your last semester(I think 3 or 4 C’s is too much)

If you can do that, you’re good to go!
