<p>SD has accepted some Econ majors, but I sure am glad some people are feeling my pain here!</p>
<p>The next wave seems like it will be a ways off too! From what I read on last year’s SD thread, it looks like SD only accepts every 2 weeks or so.</p>
<p>x8mrxjohn8x. Yes you can. The only thing TAG doesn’t guarantee is acceptance into the major. However, if the major isn’t impacted (only bioengineering, mechanical, and aerospace are I believe), I was told as long as the IGETC is complete and the student is TAG eligible then they will almost assuredly be accepted into their major as well. </p>
<p>Do you have a source for your information? Because I see no reference to TAG not being able to be used for engineering majors on the UCSD TAG website.</p>
<p>The Jacobs School of Engineering actually references acceptance with TAG. I know it doesn’t seem to be updated (as they will no longer accept winter transfers), but it seems pretty obvious from that site that TAG is accepted.</p>
