*The Official June 2012 Sat II Math Level 2 Thread*

@hockeyshark was it asking for which x-value is a 0 of the graph g(x)?

oh yeah! and the answer was 2 i think

also can any1 describe #15 that GalindatheGood posted with the 1/g(x)

@Galinda

it was 1036 I am 100% certain on that. The laser was pointed in the center and then i had a .05 degree error. 1086-50(radius) = 1036
I can’t believe no one said anything

That list wasn’t mine, I posted a list that was on a previous thread.

I didn’t necessarily get all of those answers, but I thought it would help people remember what all of the different problems were.

do you guys remember the question 49? t>=3 was the answer choice E?

It gave you the graph of f(x) which is equal to 1/g(x). It asked for the x-value where g(x)=0. There was a vertical asymptote at x=3 which means f(x) was undefined at that point, so g(x) had to equal 0. Therefore the answer was 3

@drac313 I got 1037-50 actually and I’ve doing that problem all afternoon xD

can someone please answer my question? do you guys remember the question 49? t>=3 was the answer choice E?

^That’s what I put… but I was so unsure…

@rahul, so you remmeber that t>= 3 was answer choice E?

@raymondthepro

It was E

I’m scared. Right now I have a 32.75 out of the questions posted. I’m hoping that I didn’t get any of the other twelve wrong 0_o.

I really didn’t study at all for the test, and I must say, it was a little tough. I feel confident about maybe 30-35 of the questions. I guessed on about 5. The remaining 10-15 were so-so. A lot of math I haven’t used in a while/never quite internalized.

i think it was easy as hell. i only omitted the last one with the laser? I mean really i will be extremely disappointed if i don’t get a 800. Anyone else here who prepared using Sabioacademy? I had a private online tutor, and she gave me 2 tests everyday. Since I started on May 24, I had taken at least 16 tests. Always 750+, about 4 800s?

What was exact question for prime number whatever?

47 c, 48 d - are these right?

For the f(3)-f(1) question I knew that f(3) = 8. I had no clue what f(1) was but I picked the answer that was slightly less than 8 so 6.

what was the question of the equilateral triangle, people said the answer is 15. i dont remember the question so does anybody? if i can remember the question ill remember what i did

For the equilateral triangle one, it gave you two vertices at (0,3) and (4,0), and asked for the perimeter of the equilateral triangle. Can someone please explain how to do this one? I honestly have no idea…
