I just figured it out… =(

What are some useful calculator programs that you guys know of for this test? Like ones that have all necessary equations/solvers…?

I’ve figured out 2 of the 4 that I omitted. They weren’t even that hard… One I still have no idea how to solve and the other one I can’t remember.

Reiterating 5minutes’s questions because I’d like to know too…

I have a brand new TI83 - new because my previous calculator, an HP 39gs, died right after my Chem AP Test. ;_; I’ve used it before, so generally entering things won’t be a problem.

“What are some useful calculator programs that you guys know of for this test? Like ones that have all necessary equations/solvers…?”

Well, I got 800s on the practice Math and physics tests I took today… so that’s good. On Math I averaged like a 770 though between Sparknotes and Kaplan. I’d be fine with anything 750+, so this is getting my hopes up! =P

i took it in may. really easy if you prepared. use your graphing calc. store the functions and equations on the calc. watch the time. i got a 800 that way.

^tincanman, you got your score already? How long does it take for scores to be received?

what are you guys storing in your calculators?

the test was very tricky!!!

Dont say that Barrons over prepares you…fundamental information yes, given but…

very unusual test…

It wasn’t bad… What did you find hard?

I usually get in the 7’s on Barron’s and I thought this was hard… Omitted 5

it was so hard… i used kaplan as my study aid and it was so much harder than that…
what did u guys get for 49 and 50 ?

@buddingchemist Are you positive about 50? I got the same answer but I did it so quickly I can’t remember what I did.

how do you think the curve is gonna be on this thing? I’ve heart a 43-44/50 raw is the cutoff for 800.

I left two blank and know I missed two already, may have missed one or two more. think that’s an 800?

I thought that was either realllly easy and I got an 800, or I seriously made a lot of math errors…not quite sure. I didn’t store any equations, but the only question I forgot the equation for (and it just took an extra minute to calculate) was the one on the nth term of the geometric sequence. Which was like 162 or something? Hmm…what was 49 and 50 again?

OMIT 12 LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO

haha, i’ll probably cancel. I didn’t prepare and the test seemed harder than CB’s practice tests

I used Princeton, too, it definitely prepared me well!! I was surprised there weren’t any vectors or matrices on it-though I’m very glad, despite studying matrices for an hour last night :l seems like there was more trig than usual too…

for 50 it was B because you got that the distance was 1036.7 but it was asking for by how much the laser would miss the disk so you had to subtract 50 to get 986.7

49 i think i got x>6 which was D i believe

50 was the one with the laser. I can’t recall 49.

curve predictions anyone? hard or easy?
