The Official Master List of 2011 Acceptances

Welcome to the Official Master List of 2011 Acceptances!
A special thanks to ifax108's thread shown here[/size]

[size=-1]First, congratulations to everyone for going through the stressful process of applying, writing, waiting, dreaming, hoping; everyone has been in a pressure cooker these past few months. Again, I'm following ifax108's basic format for the acceptance list. This is also the same basic format taken from the 2009 Master List of Acceptances.
In the same thread I posted above, others talked about how they wanted to have to acceptance lists, one with just the pure facts and another with applicants EC's, FA, etc. I thought it would be a good idea to have those who created one post a link to their personal "chance-me" thread. I think this will help future applicants when it's time for them to apply (one of them being me). You certainly don't have to, especially if you are strongly against the "chance-me" board. I'd be happy to create that separate thread and post a link to it on this main post (I just have to get it done quick before my edit time expires).
Anyway, here is how the format of the acceptance list will go!

Format:
Username Here: Accepted: i,* Waitlisted: i,* Rejected: i *

abc123: Accepted:* Andover, Deerfield*** Waitlisted:*** Choate, Hotchkiss, Loomis*** Rejected:*** SPS*
bcd234: Accepted:* Exeter, Concord,*** Waitlisted:*** Andover, SPS, Middlesex*
cde345: Accepted:* Kent*** Waitlisted:*** Loomis, Portsmouth Abbey, Pomfret*** Rejected:*** Andover, Exeter*

*I ask is that you alphabetize the list as it moves on. Please place your username where it corresponds with the alphabet. In addition, if you would like to post your list using this color, the code is:
006400
To use it correctly, please go [url=<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/misc.php?do=bbcode%5Dhere%5B/url">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/misc.php?do=bbcode]here[/url</a>] and scroll down untill you see color.
Please remember that you all did amazing under pressure for such a young age and you all deserve a crisp acceptance letter.

With Love,

cant wait:)

are you going to keep this clutter free? i know that its kind of ironic how im writing, but i was just wondering.
can’t waittt!!!

I was planning to…
It’s alright! I’m just waiting for the thread to be pinned to the top of the forum! I’m as excited as you are! Good Luck!

Yes, on March 9th it would be great to open some threads for more specific statistics.
This is just an idea, but what if we opened a thread for each school? For instance, lots of posts on master lists are about Exeter, and it took me a while to skim and find a Deerfield post. So, we could have a Deerfield Master List of 2011 Acceptances, as well as an Exeter, and Andover, and so on one. These could just go into depth! Just a suggestion!
Good luck to everyone!

I like urbangirl’s idea. It will be easier to find your future classmates. Why not also list where you are from in these threads?

Accepted to Exeter so far.

You couldn’t have as the results are only announced on M10.

Wrong Pulsar! My friend got a call from Exeter like yesterday or this morning or something.

Probably just legacies, please avoid unrelated comments until D-Day…

The TSAO schools signed an agreement to not announce the admit list until M10. So they will notify no one of admission, legacies or any other until M10. They can only notify legacies, donors of a waitlist or rejection.

Then a ■■■■■… This is his first post anyway

I was thinking the same thing, had to be a ■■■■■. Can’t you delete him???

The results of Northfield Mount Hermon School Admission have been released. Anyone got accepted here ?

GOOD LUCK to all. Relax, if possible. Do not take any negative decision as a reflection on you personally. Try to fall in love with the school that accepts you. Be kind and supportive of those that do not get in. The college admission process will be even worse. Always look forward, hindsight is not the road to success. I feel for all of you, and am glad that I and my children are past it all.

The First Official Results of 2011!

Thank you dodgersmom!

DC just means “dear child,” not “cousin.” Corrected. :)

Is there anyway we could bold the one or ones we just added?
For instance, if I get accepted somewhere and add my name to the list, can I bold my name so it’s easier to keep up? The small, close-together text is hard to read :(
