@queenbellevue was that short passage experimental? i was really confused with that one and i cannot really recall what i chose… i think it was either taking less time or the audience.

It wasn’t experimental. I had experimental writing. I chose taking audience away from crossword and I remember feeling pretty sure about it but NOW IM FREAKING OUT

hey guys I know you have all mentioned that the timezone thing in writing is the real one, but I just cannot recall which one was it. Do you guys remember having the sentence "under her (colleague) pressure, (she blabla) that the (blabla) BE PASSED ? is that sentence in the real section or the experimental one :o please tell me Im freaking out too

I think it was A cuz the option said about mystifying and the given line had pique as a word and they both mean bewilder

I chose taking audience away as well but I too was not sure… But since it seems like almost everyone chose that, I guess it’s correct? Hopefully it is…

@queenbellevue don’t worry, I’m PRETTY SURE it’s correct. The passage was talking about how when theres two types of puzzles and ppl only have limited amount of time per day to do puzzle, people are only going to choose one of the two. Thus, the existence of sudokus takes away from crossword audiences.

does anyone remember the last reading section? the 20-minute one? passage is about memory and stuff. there was a question asking about whether a sentence is a claim or a qualification and stuff. what did you guys choose??

@tracybui i chose claim

@conficollege i chose “claim” too but i am so confused >’<

and the early bird-night owl passage? there was a question asking about the tone of passage 1. i remember narrowding down to “defensive”, “pensive”, and “apologetic”. what did you guys choose?

@tracybui i chose incredulous because the 1st passage is not based on scientific evidence and therefore cannot be that credible compared with the scientific passage 2

i chose defensive. it’s definitely not incredulous… the question asked about the “tone” of the passage, not about our subjective opinion on the passage

Hi guys, wish you all had a good result for this month’s SAT. Here are some answers I got for the questions I felt were tricky. Wish to hear you guys’ opinions ~!

Claim (a girl’s childhood memory stuff question)

Hope to Disappointment (becoming one with the nature passage)

(Writing) That the magazine would publish his work is evidence of his ___ (I chose would…is this experimental section? If not, was it no error?)

“Play of word” (becoming one with the nature passage …“only thing that became one were my sticking fingers…blah”

Oh Also, I try to improve on my vocabs and I can’t really remember all the hard vocabs. Can you guys tell me some vocabs that you guys found difficult?

@conficollege i was confused btw “defensive” and “apologetic”. i think those two share some common meanings~~ omg i’m freaking out >"<

@tracybui I chose defensive and I’m 98% sure about it. Nothing to worry

and the passage about a girl having an artist dad? i remember choosing “loving and affectionate” and “personal attributes” for the last 2 questions. hope that i’m correct omg~~

@aufklarung i chose “apologetic” damn it. btw do you remember any of your answers from the Photographer passage and the Memory passage (a bunch of first grade kids rushing to class and stuff)

and the kids rushing to class since “none of us want to miss the silhouettes drawings” are “eager” right?

@aufklarung some of the vocabs i remember are “steward”, “curator”, “tautology”
