the Official NYU ED Roster

girl, u mean indian girl....;)

oh I am so sorry.

I thought about it again, and I came to a conclusion that you will most likely to get in. GSP seeks a candidate with 1200s range and an upward-trend G.P.A. and you perfectly fit into this criteria, a decent SAT which is in the GSP range and a clear upward-trend G.P.A. with a nice cumulative G.P.A. I really cannot say that you will get in 100% but I believe that you are a strong candidate and you are the one whom the admissions office is looking for, at least G.S.P.

Could you please list your ECs and others so that I can evaluate more accurately. I have to say this: I did not mean to hurt your feelings.

I thought you were a boy and I was joking around with matti.

Please list your ECs and other activities and so on! :)

I really hope to attend NYU with you next year! :)

by the way, my name is Jason and you can always contact me

kjayson7@hotmail.com
or if you really need, which I doubt but I do hope so, 201-724-5939

thank you!

p.s. if I were the admissions officer, I would def accept you. and do not misunderstand me, I am not merely flattering.

ya i know you who u were referring to, i was just joking around

I dun think she'll get in GSP her gpa aint that great (3.75 WEIGHTE) and no strong EC... if she has done something great in her life maybe id say GSP, her SAT is in the range, but she hasnt done anything to warrant it... shes just mediocre in everything. Mona, do you have any major EC's or awards, and whats your class rank?

and kjayson edit the post and remove your phone number, putting your phone number on a message board is like more stupid than electing George Bush lol

lol i love how once i'm a girl all the sudden i have a decent shot and a phone number. you can be honest, i'm a girl, not a baby:)
I already emphasized that i was aware it was a reach school, i was just asking for more opinions thats all...since you asked, i've taken 2 to 3 ap/honors classes each year and was on the varsity tennis team for four years.
~mona~ (<---guys name??)

Yes, now I see that the username is indeed your real name.

No, my decision has not changed because of your sex, however there is this very little possibility that this might have influenced me. But I doubt it.

Since you are on the varsity tennis team, you will get in. why? NYU has poor sports teams and they are constantly looking to recruit excellent players like you.

by the way, I think I can give you my opinion fully on the phone. ;)

ap/honor classes are much different, dont group them together

Have u won any awards, competition from tennis?

Matti, I believe she has done an excellent job while in H.S. AP/Honors classes, and a varsity tennis team? what more do you expect?

she's in. period.

but there is one thing I have to say, but I just can't articulate well by merely typing...I am not the best writer but I am an excellent speaker.

yeah i've gotten 2nd in competition
first in varsity challenge
that business club i mentioned (DECA)-2nd in regionals top ten in state
i dunno my exact rank, its something like 114/750
organize and model in indian bridal fashion show evry year

hmm? what do you want to say?

OK may I have your phone number please? lol

you are a very strong candidate...no doubt no question about it.

and being a model for Indian bridal fashion is an excellent achievement.
however, to accurately rate your chances, I would like to see you personally.
you might as well apply to Tisch. do they have modeling?

by the way, acadec thing, my school won 2nd in the nation first in the state of New Jersey. i believe...it was at Dallas. so proud but so competitive...filled with Asian students...about 30% - 40% are Asian-Americans...that explains why our school's average SAT score is around 1300...

uhh i organize it..for charity obviously. and no, it was held in nashville

different places in different years. we are usually top 5 in the nation every time. 2001 or 2000 was Dallas...and I did not mention about organizing charity thing...

kjayson i like your subtle satire lol

hmm, if you make a point of tennis and the business thing and build yourself around that you may have a slight chance.... that class rank is going to kill you though.

thank you but it's funny because I am not trying to be a satirist. in fact, I am just blurting out a pile of sh|t.

I have to admit that I have a fetish of Indian ladies (and I really do, no subtle message here, serioiusly) but it's too bad I am afraid that I won't see you at NYU. But Matti, we can still see each other, you know, perhaps choose a same residential hall. I hope you are not a big smoker because I HATE smokers. and don't shoot heroin.

eh, i get drunk and/or high every couple of monthes, i dont smoke cigarettes tho, it doesnt do anything for you lol

yes back to the topic indeed

so far that makes 10 of us...

well i'll be in ny either way but i wudn't get too excited. i'm out...gotta be up early for that fashion show tomorrow:)

hey mona i think you would be a good candidate for the gsp program
and is the location of the UN the key reason why you want to apply to nyu? i dont know a thing about how nyu hooks ppl up with internships - but its not very easy to get an internship at the un, although you could try for various organizations and such. what i am saying is the fact that the UN is in NYC doesn't mean you will be having much contact with it.

hmm id be interestin in gettin an internship at the U.N. too.. a couple of embassadors for a few countries id like to kick.. lol
