Good stats Karpov...and I must say, Excellent college choices!
Mine:
I may or may not have taken the SAT and perhaps gotten the 2060 had I taken the SAT instead of the ACT
I might be doing AP...in which case, it'll be 5s on all subjects...and had I planned to take the O levels, i might have secured st. As....oh yeah :D

I might as well have an AICE distinction, or maybe not....who knows! (Depends if I had taken A levels in the first place :P) And SAT 2 score of 2360 +-60 :D

I was thinking someone might say that Game, but nothing like that man...we're green jacks competing against...well, you know...:D ! And Karpov, to be more precise, I have already taken A level GP...95 percent ooh yeah, thank god!! :D

Hey guys! I haven't posted for a long time. I was trying to break my CC addiction but my efforts proved futile. so whats up everyone?

@Flibb- I have applied to LUMS and most probably its where I am headed as my US college list is very top heavy. Right now I am trying to convince myself that LUMS is pretty good.

LUMS is an infidel monopoly. It tries to mimic the Harvard acceptance rate whilst carrying on with zilch professionalism and an misplaced emphasis on the number of As you cheat for in your exams. Nowhere known except in Pakistan, it prides itself on toy competitions like the LUMUN, YLES and the Olympiad. The Harvard Case Study (a thriving part of YLES) being a sour case in point of how LUMS portrays itself to cater to the elite. Claiming need-blind admissions, LUMS requires you to submit 16 different documents just to prove you require support. Contrast that with the need-aware colleges in the States, and you'll get a good idea of what LUMS symbolizes and why.

In short, LUMS can never be good for anyone. Not even rat racers. It streamlines everyone into bread earners, undermining diversity and rebuffing extra-curricular importance. If you want a nerd factory that teaches you nothing except how to teach yourself, you'll enjoy your studying hours immensely there. And of course, if your life's trajectory ends in the accumulation of paper wealth - beginning with a degree that says you were educated at LUMS - it's an ideal place. Otherwise - stay clear.

^^theGame, no offense dude, but that's quite a harsh opinion. Yes, and it's just that, your opinion. It would have had more weight if you were actually someone, or had achieved something. If you have some stats, some facts, some experiences, some anecdotes which prove what you have to say is even remotely close to reality, please do enlighten us. Otherwise please refrain from posting such drivel as it's merely discouraging us from what for most of us is a 'dream' university.
