<p>Any particular reasons?
Reading about scavhunt at uchicago was fun though. But too bad, they didn’t have Engineering so I didn’t really have any reasons to apply there.</p>
<p>well I did apply to some ivy’s but they are like only for crown hunters… uchicago seems to be the underdog… I dont know if that makes any sense but yeah 
and I have a thing for liberal arts colleges … soo :D</p>

<p>Has anyone been invited to the March candidate weekend at NYU Abu Dhabi?</p>
<p>My dream school…well let’s see there’s Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth and Amherst…wow, pretty much ALL the school’s I’ve applied to 
! ( can see some disgusted eye-rolls there, yea I know I should’ve had a few more LACs too XD)</p>
<p>But to be honest, my dream dream school is Princeton! I basically applied to the US because of it, but then thought- heyy, if you’re going through the whole excruciating process, why not give the others a try, eh? XD</p>
<p>NOW, I’m just desperate to get in in any of these. I’ve come to realize (thanks to a lotta folks at CC) I’ll eventually like whichever I actually do end up going to, even if its AUS here in the Emirates XD</p>
<p>Intended major, that’s so easy- Economics =D Well if you’d like me to be more specific…Princeton’s ORFE program is my absolute dream…It was almost like revelation, me discovering this program. I’d dreamed of something like that (a mixture of eco, math and science) for as long as I’ve fallen in love with Economics!</p>
<p>BTW Confused6, where did you end up applying and how’s it going? Does NYU give aid, cuz as far as I know they don’t give an international admit squat! XD</p>

<p>hey… i’m new here… apparently I came to this website too late… although I did know of it. I’ve read most of the comments on this thread but I’m surprised I’ve not come across any Pakistanis living abroad… I live in Saudi Arabia by the way :)</p>

I should’ve done more research, I should have applied to more schools!</p>
<p>And now I just discovered that a school that is practically RIGHT BESIDE ME (2 cities away actually)…is need-blind -_-</p>
