The Official PSAT For Saturday October 21, 2006

o.O What were the two no errors in writing?
I only found one...

Yeah, I only got one "no error" in the identify-the-error section.

dude are u crazy wry? so the uncle is devious and not surly which means rude

one E fo writing was the comparing with the artist with a lot of "as"

yes all of the korean passage had something do with self. agreed

there are two Es

and how bout the question wwith "equal, if not more than" is this part wrong with "equal to, if not more than" as the correction

I think I got 2 no errors for Writing.
And I thought the Korean passage was pretty straightforward.
I got the identity and self-something answer for the Korean passage.

Yeah, I also marked self for the korean passage

Yeah, I agree that it was "wry", which can mean ironic... the uncle's comments were ironic and sarcastic.

yeah i put that innocent for that equal question

YESS I GOT THE WRY ONE RIGHT. I'm going to go party now.
Anyways, innocentboy, I got what you got for the "equal to" question. I think it was missing the "to".

What was the other "no error" you guys got? I thought the only one was the question involving Charlotte Bronte.

do any of u rememeber that question about witch hunts and it had neglect in it. it was in the improving sentences. was it a matter with parrell

I think it was a parallel, chinnu.

the wry one can be debated i guess surly does fit too and the uncle is being rude

to someone up there... as in up there ont his page..

it's not humanism or renaissance.. it's ancient greek.. haha first time i read ur question i was like.. were you a wednesday taker or something :)
but yeah... it's supposed to be in present

i don't know if this was the bronte question. one compared a person singing and writing skill or it have been art. i put no erro for that. it has than underlinved if that helps

sorry 09xoxo i have AP Euro. everytime i see greeks, i think renaissance and humanism

Snowia-- same with me for the writing.

About the Korean passage... the question was something like she learned that learning about your past lets you...
one option: something about self identity & understanding yourself?
one option: identifying with your country of origin.

I put the second option: my logic was that she admitted that she actually DIDN'T really identify with her true self or whatever, so I didn't think that first option was it.

okay so probably 2 NO ERRORS on writing anyone wanna exchange aim to discuss faster post aim here

etyee12

chinnu, there was an error with that sentence - parallel structure. don't remember about the specifics though..

contumacious- i put # 1.
