no. he compared it to the "last tournament we saw." or something like that. comparing two tennis matches isn't faulty to me :S

no he was comparing the audience of the last tournament to just another tournament. i think. i don't maybe you're right and i just intrepreted it wrong

oh you might be right i dont really remember that question too well. I just remember "We saw" was underlined

for the question about the sqaure inscribed the circle was one of the choices 36? and for the grid-in triangle question, did they say the side had to be an integer?

for the question about the sqaure inscribed the circle was one of the choices 36? and for the grid-in triangle question, did they say the side had to be an integer?

Yah one of the choices was 36, the answer was 32 though i think. (dont remember)

I don't think they said anything about integers for the triangle problem

It was "but it only impacted the textile industry", and that was the correct answer.

EDIT: Yeah -- it said "...at the Wimbleton tournament... than the tournament we saw." The last bit is wrong because it should be "than AT the tournament we saw."

any1 remember any questions on the writing section

for the sentence completion about the architects, was the answer "courted ... ? "

that's what i put, i was unsure about that one

Yes, it was courted/accomplished

The wimbledon question was C. It was c.the last tournament d.we saw.

crud , i got the courted... one wrong ><
I thought CR was kinda hard, but who knows...
Does anyone remember any questions from the short Biography Section or the Twinkle Star passage

that biography section was HARD.

1) both of these passages agree about what
- i think it was that he influenced biographies of the time

and if x=-y... then x^2 would = y^2 too... like...

it factored out to
(x+y) (x-y) (x+y)

so it HAD to be x^2 and y^2...

lurker.. yupp :)

For the Wimbledon one, it was comparing the ATMOSPHERE of one match to another MATCH. So a faulty comparison there. At least that's what I put haha

For the Twinkle star passage, what was the one "the main purpose of this passage"? Was it to explain a fundamental issue of astrophysics or something?

I put to introduce an explanation of a phenomenon..... something like that ???

Crappp.

Also, on the Identifying Sentence Errors, how many Es (no error) did you get? I only got one :-/

that that was one answer... just different takes on the wording.. but yeah i put that one

I put an intro to whatever ... It made more sense since in the beginning he tried to relate it to 'twinke twinkle.'

Also, yah there weren't many no errors. i only got like 1,2,or 3 and I know one of them is wrong

The passages agreed that Stayner (was that his name?) changed the standard of biographies of his time.

Another question about their general view of Stayner was that he was an unusually skilled writer.
