Go Seniors '08!

Guys, guys, guys, you're all too negative. We're seniors...not sure if you heard me correctly so I will repeat, SENIORS! This year is going to be the best year, so what if the last 3 sucked, it's our time to leave the legacy of the class of 2008.

It's gonna be so GREAT being seniors. We know the building like the back of our hands, it's where we've breathed, slept, passed classes, or failed them, went to nhs meetings, struggled with opening our lockers, etc. etc. Yes for most of us school sucks, we have to wake up early, lunch is never long enough, and we hardly see our friends in between studying for AP's...but you know what we were there. For three long, painful years. So all I can say is wow...I can't believe I made it.

So stop complaining and giving seniors a bad name, fight senioritis and live this year to it's fullest because we'll never, ever get to experience this again.

starts tomorrow! well like 9 hours.. hehehe

i really hope i can finish my summer reading on time. . .
and write the essays for them

Other than that, I'm way excited!!!!!!

My first day of school is in 26 hours and 4 minutes. :)

I'm so excited.

theoneonlynat - great post. very touching. :)

i have mixed feelings about senior year.

NHS meetings, theonlynat? Oh, right, I'm on a board with a bunch of smarties. =P

Okay, I'll admit I'm excited for the Fall Play. And for hazing my little brother the freshman. Oh, and the fact that my schedule is easy as pie.

ETA: And I'm going to Spain in April!

haha thanks kev!

And ChellyBelly Spain sounds amazing are you going with your school? My spanish class is going for spring break but I cannot afford it, which sucks! Oh and my little cousin is a freshman, it's going to be great at the pep rally haha.

I started school on August 13, and I am super stressed bc of AP's, senior project college apps, and life in general. Everyone in my classes are talking about their dream colleges (all in top 20 of course), which makes me anxious and nervous. I am applying EA to UGA, Boston College, UChicago, and Georgetown. I am trying to be optimistic like theonenonlyant, but it's really hard!
Class of '08 dominates!

I'm in the same boat as koolmaria, and I'm pretty sure lots of us are. But don't feel stressed out! I know I am, but try to keep things cool and smooth.
Good luck to y'all!

Senior yr is kinda be weird for me..I got some issues with this girl tht i dont get along with (complicated) and shes in all my classes so like yeah....And i dont know where we are right now and today was the first day of school and all so i hope tht we can fix **** if not then i hope she doesn't get a seat anywhere assianged 2 me......and truthfully i'm not looking forward to anything but Graduation and get in to the colleges i apply 2....I think guys dont care much about things like Prom and other **** as much as girls..

It seems like since its our last year of high school, the people around me are getting very anal-retentive about it being "our last year" and are becoming extra-annoying.

I'm excited about:
-Homecoming (week, football game, dance)
-all the rallies at our school
-college acceptances (hopefully i will get one from one of my top schools)
-partying once apps are done

but i don't think it will be as exciting if all the girls around me continue all the b.u.l.l.s.h.i.t. that they've been creating.
i mean please, grow the heck up :)

I completely agree! It is driving me crazy. And everyone is still so childish. Sure, everyone has their moments, but it never ends with some people. It's terrifying to think that some of them will have to go off to college and survive on their own next year.

Looking forward to:
-grad night
-graduating
-summer
-college acceptance letters
-driving all the time...:)

Yeah! It's not an exchange program, because we don't have a contact school over there yet, so it's just a tour. We're going to Madrid, Seville, Barcelona, and a bunch of other places. I'm so excited! It's my 18th birthday present AND my graduation present from my parents. (:
