Nooooo… Alumi email is not relate to admission [-O< It should be !

I think that when we apply to UC, some pp checked something about scholarship or leadership and others did not check these. Maybe it is the reason why some got the email or not.

@whosnext Go bears dude! I applied to ucb and ucla, but I also got rejected from ucla. I thought that ucla was a backup plan for ucb but …god… My dream school is also UCB!

@smashley93 I didn’t. I think it was only sent out to people who showed some sort of leadership position on their applications; definitely nothing to do with admission decisions. I intend to apply but I gotta figure out what leadership position I’ve held in the last two years.

I hope you get into your dream school.

I am much less confident about having any chance at acceptance to Cal now that I know that I am rejected at UCLA. I thought I would be relatively competitive with a 3.76 GPA for sociology. I was really hopeful about being admitted to UCLA because I was told by a coach that my application would be supported. My sister has one more year at UCLA so the whole package was ideal. I guess it was not meant to be.

oh dear your nickname even shows your dream.
I want to know what the admission process is because some of my friends got rejected with 4.0 perfect GPA and ECs while some got the admission with relatively low GPA…
(my gpa is not competitive for Communication major in UCLA, so no complaint!)

I wish you a good luck for Cal at this time.

Do you mean that is a bad sign if I cannot see any financial aid summary on calcentral?
How do you think about if I have nothing to receive for the financial aid and I did not even apply it?
