The Official USC Baccalaureate/MD Thread!

sometime next week probably.

ah so so nervous

my letter came today, i live in socal

rejection :(

oh well

Yea. Same. Oh well.
Still have the PSU/JMC option.
And waiting for others. Sigh.

Rejected by USC today, it’s okay. Unhappy that 85% of the program people apply to other medical schools and leave usc ultimately. I wanted to go through the program with others like myself, make some long term friendships, and they were just solo. I’m only disappointed as far as the general rejection. They didn’t even care about all of my research and shadowing experience. I think that USC accepts kids, just to bring up statistics of the school…

Do they send an email on April 1st? I interviewed on the 10th and am extremely nervous.

I interviewed on the 10th too! Maybe we’ve met each other, MOrgel!

We’re gonna get letters in the mail pretty soon. Cali ppl got them today and I think I should get mine by Monday.

Torcher, what was your name? I’m sure I met you. I tried to meet everyone.

I got in and am committing! anyone else from the march 3rd interview? :)

I was accepted last Friday!!!
I also came in for the March 10th interview so I probably met you guys!
Are you guys committing?

I got in too!
& I interviewed on the 10th also

I think I`m committing to USC
I already applied for housing
Is anyone else committing?

That makes three of us who interviewed on the 10th :P

I did not commit yet, but I will on Monday. I applied for housing too!

Who knows what the resume for the bac/md program must include?

^ buuuuuump

I called the admission office and they said it can just be a list of my accomplishments. Any thoughts? What did previous admits include?

does anyone know if the essay for the proposals is suppose to be written like an essay or proposal? Like an outline format?

I’m writing it as an essay because if you look at the second choice it asks you to write about things other than just the proposal such as why it is important to you and how it affects medicine. BTW does anyone know if national merit finalists are guaranteed the national merit presidential scholarship or if it just qualifies them for it.
