<p>AP Art History - No idea, just finished some stuff about the Romans and Minoans and Clycledean (sp?), bombed that test. The very first essay question: Explain the Significance of the Megaron. Me: It was big, very big and innovative, paved the way for future structures of enormous sizes.

<p>AP Bio: Just had a test on Enzymes yesterday, moving on to Cell stuff.</p>
<p>AP Calc BC: l’ Hospitals rule,second derivatives in accordance with concavity, local max/min. Did all of that last year, so its pretty much a review.</p>
<p>AP Gov/Econ: Uhm, something about fiscal policy and the other kind of policy. (The one with the feds or something)</p>
<p>AP Lit.Comp: Analyzing poetry, did a report on Shakespearean Sonnet 18, reading King Lear</p>
<p>AP Physics C: Uh, yeah we talked about Terraforming planets last class. But we’re supposed to be learning circular motion.</p>

<p>Eng IV H - Just finished The Canterbury Tales. This week we’ll do a mini research paper on heroism/heroic cycle/etc (I chose Arthur Dent/The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy & comedic heroes… unfortunately Monty Python’s King Arthur/Holy Grail was already taken :P)

Math Analysis - …who knows. Like I ever pay attention… it’s basically just a review of Alg II but expanded tiny bit. I hate this class. I didn’t want it, but it’s the only thing that would fit in my schedule.
AP Studio Art - I’m doing a synthetic cubism piece, so I’m doing some research (Picasso, Braque, etc & basic principles)

<p>Life Issues (health) - There are all sorts of families! Some families have a mommy and a daddy, some just have one parent, and some families have two mommies or two daddies! <em>shoots self in face</em></p>
<p>Music Theory - we just started chords. Personally, I’m still trying to learn to hear the difference between a fifth and an octave and major and minor sevenths.</p>
<p>Engineering - nothing.</p>
<p>Vocal Ensemble / Concert Choir / Chorus - music for a wedding / nothing new / nothing interesting</p>
<p>AP English Lit - I’m learning how to effectively procrastinate and still write fabulous essays.</p>
<p>APUSH - Starting the Madison administration and later stuff, wrapping up the Constitution, Washington, Adams and Jeffersonian Democracy.</p>
<p>Early Brit Lit - Finishing our selections from Le Morte D’Arthur, starting Knight of the Cart.</p>

Octave - sound the same, yet kind of different
Major seventh - not as bad as minor seventh, consonant. It’s hard to put into words, but the closest I can think of is that it sounds kind of like a major sixth, and kind of like an octave, but it’s in between.
Minor seventh - Icky, dissonant. Can sound cool in certain places, though.</p>

<p>I’m learning that I got super unlucky w/ my **** teachers this year. THe other AP teachers give easy 100’s but my one refuses to give anyone above a 70 basically</p>
<p>haha I feel your pain. My AP World teacher basically “runs” the school since she has been here for 38 years and she has the hardest class in the school. Last year she didn’t give out any A’s, but all of her AP students got 5s. This year for 1st quarter I got a 89.2…the highest grade she gave out in 2 years she told me rofl. .3% from an A…my only class w/o an A too =[</p>
<p>Luckily semester grades are the only ones that matter towards my rank =]</p>
