The palm league or the west coast ivy league.

eyethink- there you go, the final list of the palm league

But why is Caltech so low?

it is not in particular order, it is just a list.

Yeah there should be an order. Which would obviously be up for debate.

shrug You switched Cal and UCLA. :)

What about Deep Springs? This is fun.

Deep springs does not count. Can anyone help me on how the final, final list of the palm leagues would be like?

Harvard
Harvard
Harvard
Harvard
Harvard
Harvard
Harvard
Harvard

The end.

^^^ hahahahahahaha.

LOLZ that’s next week BCP, chillax.

My order for the Palm League:

 1. Stanford
 2. Cal Tech
 3. UCSF
 4. Cal
 5. UCLA
 6. USC
 7. Harvey Mudd
 8. Pomona

It is difficult to compare the smaller schools with the larger one’s but that’s initial ranking.

Edit to add: I took out Claremont McKenna because while it is a fine fine institution, it just doesn’t rank higher than the eight I’ve listed.

ok nevermind

Damn nice thread.

First we should determine a ranking for the prestigious “Palm League” :)

Second compare it to Ivy League

Third a combined list ranking them from 1st to 16th :)

Just a thought
Btw Go Bears!!!

simpleorange- we should do that! What title do you want to give those 16 schools? The Smart League?

The rules are, they have to have a freshman acceptance rate of 25 percent or less and they can not have TAG agreements with any community college in the USA

Lol naw no title for them combined, just a overall judgement on order of greatness lol. It’s going to be biased like crazy but fun nonetheless. Unless there are any clever names for this prestigious competition ;)

Where or how u get statistics on each school?

simpleorange- what do you think about the rules of to “have to have a freshman acceptance rate of 25 percent or less and they can not have TAG agreements with any community college in the USA”

us world news and report especially on the acceptance rates.

@Pinoako916: This is fun thread man, thanks for creating it.

Absolutely that’s good, plus also considerate transfers too I would think. Then breakdown on facility and maybe awards but ivy would always win on that…:/

stanford,UC Berkeley, UCLA, U$C definitely does not have TAG’s with community colleges .

You can make an exception for UCSD, since next year the TAG GPA will be 3.5, haha.
