The Perfect Sat Score- No Longer A 2400????

what do you think the perfect SAT score is for a URM?
how about for anyone in general???

i am talking about the "perfect" SAT score that will allow someone to get accepted into every school they apply to, without any rejection and without any waitlisting. apparently a 2400 gets some rejections....as well as 2350s, but which score is best for URM and non-URM???

i would like to hear your opinions. :)

share any experiences you have had, or any ppl you know have had, with getting accepted/rejected and what the SAT score was.****

comments? anyone?

There's no such thing. Harvard rejects 25% of applicants with 2400s.

For a URM, however, I think anything over 2350 will get you into any college, guaranteed.

No school looks solely at SAT scores. That's true for URMs and for everyone else.

There is no such guarantee. Period. You can increase your odds by choosing your list wisely, but your odds will never be 100%.

^^^^wrong......

you'llsee... is a URM on CC w/ 2350 who got rejected to some colleges.....

i want to know what ppl think the "perfect score" for admissions is..... i don't want to hear about the 2400 statistics of acceptance..

wow i must really have sucked

i just want some #'s to be thrown out.... i don't want to hear about all this other stuff, i know the SAT is not the only factor... even ppl w/ nice ECs still get rejected..

will someone answer my post correctly?

IMO, a URM with anything over a 2300 and a GPA of 3.7 + , with decent ECs, and 700+ SAT 2s...will be in anywhere..

i think a URM with 2100-2200s and a non-URM w/ 2200s

You couldn't be more wrong.

this is a throw out #'s thread^^^^ not one of those threads were ppl go ranting on and on about go get a 2300+ and u are "guranteed' ivy...

what was your SAT and where did u not get in?????^^^

"you'llsee... is a URM on CC w/ 2350 who got rejected to some colleges....."

Right. Link?

you keep asking for someone to answer ur thread correctly but really there is no correct answer. stop asking. there is no guaranteed score. i know a URM in the grade above me who had a 2250 SAT, was nationally recognized in cello, and BOTH his parents went to harvard, and he still got waitlisted. there's no guarantee.

i think u are right^^^ his other post hint that he is going to be a senior next year
