the "planned" courses...confusion

so...the apps are submitted and everything but I'm a bit worried. and I know it's late to NOW be asking but..

I'm taking a few requirements in the spring, and so of course it was important to input those planned courses. But the thing is I'm not actually yet enrolled in them yet. That's ok as long as I eventually get into them for the spring right? The students with the top priority (continuing) were only allowed to start registering for spring classes the last few days before the deadline...while I was in the group right after that, so I haven't been able to actually register yet for any spring classes, but I went ahead and listed as planned all the courses I wanted to take

btw my question is for both UC and CSU apps (although I know this is a UC forum).

You’re fine.

Do your best to get into your classes when your registration date comes up, otherwise I think they might allow for corrections during the fall grade update thing.

I was wondering about the same thing too. Theres a ton of competition to get into the base classes like chem, math, physics, bio…etc. I was barely able to get into physics A for next quarter but im not sure id be able to get into B or C next quarter. What would happen if someone was accepted into a school and put down a class or 2 as planned in the spring but then doesnt get the class due to time conflictions or capacity? are they lenient on that or is it an automatic rescind?

@failure622 THANK YOU SO MUCH

@Thugfish, I imagine if you were using that class for a requirement it would be a reject, but if it’s just a filler class that’s not important I don’t know
