The Real ACT Prep Book or Barrons 36 2nd Edition?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently at a 34 (35, 33, 31, 36) and would like to shoot for a 36. If any of you have used these books before, what are your opinions on them? Is Real ACT more basic? Is Barrons 36 higher level and therefore better for aiming higher? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

They are very different books. The Real ACT book, published by the makers of the ACT, contains 5 excellent practice tests. The Barron’s ACT 36 book contains primarily tips/techniques and some practice questions. The books are complementary. Feel free to buy both.
