The right one for me

here’s something to look at: [World’s Best Colleges: Engineering and IT Universities - US News and World Report](http://www.usnews.com/articles/education/worlds-best-colleges/2009/06/18/worlds-best-colleges-engineering-and-it-universities.html)

If you like Philly, Temple is a better choice than Drexel, and you’re looking at a full ride+entry into the honors program.

true except Temple’s engineering program isn’t as highly regarded if you are thinking of going back to India someday, Penn State or Pitt would be much better for engineering (sorry diontechristmas)

Your main focus should be getting a good education whether its in India or US or Uk or Austr. Austr Universities start in Dec I believe. You will have time to apply to other countries before that. Uk Universities look at stats mainly and Math Physics scores for Engineering. They are cheaper than the US.

In the US you can work on an 18 month internship right after college. If you end up at a major international company during that period you have a chance to work anywhere in the world with them. Things do fall into place.

Good luck.

Drexel engineering is not as great as people think it is. I have no idea why it is so well regarded. Penn State is probably better for engineering. Pitt engineering is nothing as well.

that’s true, Pitt engineering is nothing unless you plan on biomedical engineering which is it’s only strength, Drexel only is good because of all the hype around its co-op program

both are still better known than Temple though

If you say so.

ok … then which uni has a Good engineering program, I know getting a visa/ work permit in the US is very difficult , That is y I want to go to a university that is well regarded outside the US or I can make good connections with internationally recognized MNC’s

Updated

Screw the money , My parents have assured me there is no limit for the costs . So the bottom line is - Very good engineering program - Most important , good connections , internationally respected and well regarded degree
