<p>I don't think it's fair to blame the Republicans. For over 100 years the Democrats ruled the state of Florida. Both sides of the isle are to blame for such a lousy educational system.</p>

<p>They just need to fundraise and Raise, Raise, Raise tuition. UF & FSU will do better in the future though. Mark it down...</p>

The state of Florida will proportionally DECREASE its contribution to it.</p>

<p>I agree the Legislature sucks at funding the State University System. It's a running joke that they say "We do education on the CHEAP".</p>
