genius, julius, keep us entertained.

And I've ventured into the parents' cafe...it is SO scary. You don't want to go there shudders I couldn't fall asleep for days...

And I've ventured into the parents' cafe...it is SO scary. You don't want to go there shudders I couldn't fall asleep for days...

that was simply beautiful.
:D

whenicomearound: haha i have to admit that isn't mine--it's the end to a longer knock knock joke someone told me that isn't really that funny either. i mean, there are a lot of things that aren't funny: aids, the ebola virus, terri schiavo, dead babies in blenders...oh wait...

squiggle88: exactly! cc is the funniest when it tries not to be

i love posts like this. i need a good laugh every so often, though most posts make me laugh anyway, one way or another...

I'm sure that was julius's intent. :D

ah Julius... you seemed somewhat bitter when posting that...
but nonetheless, I was amused... and yes, teaching the Eskimos how to read braille with their tongues was by far my fave part.

haha well i don't know of very much comedy that isn't bitter on some level...

yeah perhaps that makes sense...
what do you do when you're bitter...
you laugh about the situation and make it into a joke
though some people (like yourself) are better at it than others

Maybe you can add a category..."the DUHR I posted in the wrong forum" thread. Like when people put "what are my chances" or specific-college-related questions in the admissions forum to get more exposure.

And maybe a "read and comment on my essay begs and pleads it won't take long" thread

great. now predict the day i will professionally rave at the largest ice skating party in the world, since you know, you're so good at predicting this stuff and all. or predict the day Roger Dooley will win the lottery and CC will be shut down forever

BET you didnt see that coming, eh?

not to be predictable...or anything like that :)

yeah sarorah... we all saw that last line coming :p I guess we just can't escape.

ah, dead baby jokes. i have grown desensitived to them over the years since my friends LOVE them. i was about to say one here, but will refrain since a) some people get very offended and b) i forgot it.
:)

HAHA so what if people get offended:

What's worse than a pile of dead babies...
A live one in the middle trying to eat its way out.

AHhhhhhhhh so wrong....

whenicomearound, I said something about a dead angel in another thread, so maybe people wont hate you for it.

me: wanna hear a joke?
you: sure
me: women's rights

now that will offend

helen keller jokes are good, too. terri shiavo jokes, while they may be "too soon, too soon," can be good.

helen keller jokes are great. I like your joke as well haha. I don't do terri shiavo jokes, it's just not my thing.

I'm relatively new on these forums, so I can't quite fit everything neatly into 6 categories; but I have found that CC is a forum that I can stick with. My last one was the "A Modest Destiny" online comic on squidi.net. Wow, I haven't been there in forever. I think I was obsessed for six months or so and then they opened a new forum and I was like "waaah, my post count! Everyone on here is stupid anyway" and now that I have displayed my immature behavior, I would like to shut up. Not before adding that CC is more useful than squidi, because people actually know stuff (or pretend to, which I'll agree is no big plus). (Haha the ramblings that occur after half a week of no school and no homework done, yet.)

Did anybody else ever read A Modest Destiny?

Category 7: "Which laptop should I get?"

Here's another women's rights joke (because I love them)

Q: How do you turn a dishwasher into a snowblower?

A: Give her a shovel.

Hahahaha that joke never gets old

wow...
good luck getting into princeton with that one
