The Smith Game

Jyber: hah! Good to know.

There has been at least one male Smith admissions officer, as I know him]

Great news, the gender barrier has already been broken. When was he there?

GEEZ...now we need three offices]]]

Two, I'll use the College Club-- great food and view of the pond.

In a pinch, Starbucks and the lounge at the Hotel Northampton will do just fine too.

Sorry, I am a conservative about posting info regarding other individuals on the web. Let's just say he's roughly my age (midlife, of course!) and did this well over a decade ago.

Many people in that role burn out from the seasonal and travel demands, plus the pay is generally not great. It must be tough on family life. It could be a fun part-time post-retirement job, IMO. I have known of occasional staff adcoms at some schools who do it on a part-time basis.

Smith has several part-time admission officers.

By most estimates, I hit midlife around age 30. I assume you took better care of yourself? :)

I thought 50 was the new 30 for us baby boomers. ;)

"GEEZ...now we need three offices?? I don't need this kind of pressure! I vote for the person who has been in education the longest ;)"

Sounds like me.

Since birth. ;)

Depends on your lifestyle choices. :)

Supplemental income. Gives a new meaning to work study, oui?

Fret not, stills aren't allowed in the Smith houses.

The chem. lab is another matter ;)

AHHHH...reminds me of the Swamp at the good old MASH 4077. ;)
