The Story Behind the Name

<p>I've started this post for anyone who would like to share the story behind their screen name.</p>

<p>Here's mine:
I love Greek mythology and my favorite deity is Athena, the goddess of wisdom, strategy, crafts, war, and many other things. Anyways, there is this myth that she and another deity, Poseidon, competed to see who would be the patron deity of Athens. The two deities were to give a gift to the city and the citizens chose the patron deity from the gift they most preferred. Posidon gave the city a spring, which was not very useful. Athena, however, gave the city the olive tree, which brought wood, oil, and food. </p>

<p>And so, I am Olive_Tree!</p>

<p>I took my name from a corruption of the word 'composer' and man, to signify a man who composes. The digits are the numbers on a license plate that I own from Ngchesar, a state in the Pacific country of Palau.</p>

<p>I attended a summer research program where I studied the ecological niches of wood warblers. Combine that with my year of birth, and you have my CC name. (I didn't know it would last me this long or frequently.)</p>

<p>I got the name because Im in Track and I love running the Mile
what can i say, im a runner and represent my event :D</p>

<p>I love lord of the rings. Celebrian is the daughter of Galadriel. I just think it's a really beautiful name (so much better than my hideous name)</p>
