I was born in 1991 too!

haha what a coincidence!

I know, isn't it?!

My first name begins with Ti and I like it when people call me Miss because it make me feel like an adult but young at the same time so...MissTi was made. Not very creative I know but whatever.

well great minds are born in the same year. haha

They sure are.

Mine comes from the ancient Greek word "katharos," the word from which my name is derived. It means "pure." I currently take ancient Greek, and, as a prospective classics major (though nothing is yet set in stone), I think Katharos is fitting.

Katharos, both of our names have a Greek background. I wish I could take ancient Greek, since I love everything Greek!

Olive_Tree,

Yes, it is quite a lovely language, despite the severe pain at times.

I am homeschooled, so I am auditing Intermediate Greek through the university I will be attending in the fall. This is really the only way to do it until one is actually in college; I have only run into one high school that teaches ancient Greek, and it does so sporadically.

A warning, though: It is a tough language. Be prepared to feel like an absolute idiot in the course. That is the state I am in at the moment. Of course, the difficulty level of the course could be the reason; actual texts are hard.

I've heard it's a very hard language. You're right, I have not heard of a single high school that teaches Ancient Greek, or Greek for that matter.

Xaipete, katharos (and Olive_Tree)! (If you're female, I think I can guess your name :))

I was going to move to Wilmington North Carolina so I tried to make my name wilmingtonwave, but it was taken on AOL so I instead put my name into it: WILLmingtonwave.

mcz=my initials

How creative!

Well come on, guess!

My high school teaches Ancient Greek in a three-year system requiring only one year of an HS foreign language.

kman1456, you are the only person I have heard who's school does that.

I love nature. I'm a hardcore environmentalist.

Your name totally shows your love.

and i feel like climbing on top of a olive tree ;)

Now that I think of it, me too!
