any one who wants just private message me your email okay?

Hi all! Unfortunately, I’m still not getting the score I want which is extremely frustrating but I’m making progress. I usually get around a 2000- 700s on CR & writing with essays around a 10 and 600ish on math. My goal is, at the very least, to increase my math score by another hundred points by test day. If I get at least a 2100 on the October exam, I’m not sure if I’ll retest. My scores increase with each practice test, so hopefully if I do a test a week I’ll get at least a 2200 on the exam.
I’ll probably sign up for the November exam as well though, just in case. If I’m not happy with my October scores, I’ll sign up for the December test. Hopefully i will have obtained a 2100 at the very least at that point, because I don’t want to take it more than three times.

@gonewiththeair 2000 is already a good score! Just keep working, i am sure you will obtain the score you want :)

Hey guys!
I’ll be giving my SAT in October. I have my half yearly examinations from 8th September to 17th September, which are a pretty big deal. I wanted a suggestion regarding whether I should give it in October or not? I’ll have no school from September 17th to 13th October so I’ll be relatively free.

As for my preparation, I’m done with the Princeton Review Manual for SAT Preparation and around halfway through Princeton Review’s Practice Tests. Now, I’ll be shifting my focus towards the Blue Book, the Black Book by Mike Barrett and past papers. I will also be preparing my vocabulary with the helpf of Direct Hits and by making flashcards of all the tough words in the practice tests I will come across during my preparations.

So, is the amount of preparation I will be doing enough for a 2300+, more importantly, will I be able to prepare that well in the 21 odd days that I have? (Completely stress free)

P.S. - My latest and highest score on a practice test (PAST PAPER - SAT MAY 2013) was 2170 (800 Math/690 CR/680 W). English is my second language, working really hard to get 800 in CR and 750+ in writing!

Thanks a lot for your suggestions!

@kartikey97 Take it in October.

Thank you, btw, do you think the amount of preparation would be enough?

@kartikey97 heyy i think it’s definitely possible to get 2300+ but i think instead of doing pr practices, focus more on the blue book and past tests.
direct hits is great for vocab, but it might not be enough for a 800 cr. you might have to study other vocab.
you can def get 750+ for writing i started out with a 550 this summer and got up to 750 in just one month <3 collegeboard basically tests only a few main concepts so if you understand them then you’ll all set!

good luck! :)

What Prepbook do you guys reccomend for Grammer? I have math down and CR nearly down, but Grammer is gonna kill my score. (Keep in mind taking 5 APs is taking a toll on my free time and SAT study time so I need soemthingg that’s straight to the point)

Oh, and also, hopefully its great helping with identifying sentence errors which is where I miss 80% of my mistake

@Zeppelin7 Not sure how you have been on here with 200 posts without hearing this:
