they want you to pay OOS money…dont worry happened to a couple of my friends who go to UM.

Anyone had got letter no. 2 or 3 and was eventually admitted last year?

123abc456- my letter was just basically about how much i like michigan, why i think it’s a good fit for me, and i included some personal stuff that i didn’t include in my application.

LolyGAGHa, who’d you send your letter and updated resume to? Just the admissions office address where we all sent the transcript and what not?

^^ yup! and i sent this in weeks ago, and i called the admissions office today, and they said they received it.

bump…bump…

Thanks so much LolyGAGHa, I’ve been wondering where to send all this type of stuff.

no problem! now we’ll see if sending in all this stuff helps us get accepted!

i was looking at the thread from last year and it looks like people started to hear in early february…

^
You mean the deferred ones? Or the regular pool?

I got the first letter and was pretty bummed. I’m glad to know it is the supposedly “good letter.” I’m sending in my midyears to enhance my application a little bit, as I had a strong first half of the year.

I too got the 3rd letter yesterday! has anyone got accepted with this…
I too am sending my midterm report …
Advice will be of great help. Does it make sense to call admissions office and talk to them and ask them what else can help them make their decision

I got the first deferral letter approximately 2 weeks ago. I was bummed, it was my first college letter, and it was a deferral… today I just my acceptance letter. So it does seem like the 1st option is the best, in my experience anyway.

congratulations! has anyone got a straight rejection letter !

congratulations! has anyone got a straight rejection letter !
Did u gt your acceptance letter by email /on wolverine access website or letter in the mail?

I got the first deferral letter in early December…I still haven’t heard anything. My school does trimesters instead of semesters, and I sent my 1st trimester grades (4.05 gpa) and I also plan on sending my second trimester grades when they become available in March.

Good luck everyone!

bump

Does anyone get the 3rd one and still get accepted eventually?

got the first one

bump

How’s the acceptance rate of each letter?
It seems that no one from the 3rd category has been accepted:(

“How’s the acceptance rate of each letter?”

lol, who do u suppose would calculate that? we only just figured out there were 3 different types of deferral letters a couple of months ago. anyways…

i got the second kind. still no word back.

btw:michigan does not reject anyone. u are put on a waitlist, indefinitely : P
