The Trojan Transfer Plan

I remember the USC counselor saying A’s and B’s only, more A’s than B’s and no C’s for TTP

Anyone know when the portal to sign up for the interview will open? I know it said it’d be the beginning of May, so I’m wondering when it has opened in the past.

@CADREAMIN , still no word about TTP in my son’s inbox. Any idea when they will email?

Hey there @Lindagaf I would say anytime in the next week as they usually run TTP meetings early June to mid-July. They are way off on the transfer acceptance schedule this year, noticeably so compared to last several years, they are a week or two later with a lot of decisions. I am thinking that may affect TTP meeting set up as well…while not sensitive to it, they hopefully understand people have to make travel plans so it really should be within the next week.

@CARDREAMIN Is it required to only take GE requirements during our TTP? Or can we take any classes we want, so long as they are transferrable?

USC wants you to concentrate on mostly GE and the English writing requirements. There is an articulation agreement in the transfer section on transferable courses. Also begin thinking about a major. You should have met with a USC counselor before beginning the TTP.

Any other TTP’s still waiting for a decision? I sent my final spring grades in last week (per the SGR I received in April) and I haven’t heard anything yet. Is it likely that I won’t hear back until late June/July?

I replied in other thread, you should get great news anytime now that your grades are in. You will not wait till June or July.

has anyone received a notice about making an appointment?

@CADREAMIN should we have heard anything yet about making a TTP appointment?

TTP is only offered in a rejection letter only for selected students. On that letter, there are instructions to call to make an appointment.to meet with a USC counselor who will go over the requirements. Usually the appointments slots are in June/July. If the rejection letter does not offer you the TTP, you cannot participate in the TTP. From my understanding and talking to friends, Cornel has a similar plan and it is by invitation only. Like Cornell, the USC TTP is by invitation only.

If your child logs into their USC admissions portal, they will see a spot to sign up for the appointment in person or by phone. The Admissions office did not send out an email letting the students know the appointments were available to be made.

@Momof2boys1 thank you

Hi, my son sent his grades in last week and hasn’t heard. We called the admissions office and they said hemay not hear until the end of the month. Hopefully we will hear sooner. Has anyone heard who sent the sgr in recently?
