lol I did that a couple pages ago too. Oh! but I didn't organize it that way... good job!

i took your list, then added to it all the other list. then i gave it sections. people had added so many things since your list, i figured i'd do it again. thanks.

Do schools (Exeter, Andover, Choate, NMH, etc.) provide irons and ironing boards and the like in common areas? Because I'm pretty sure you can't bring one into the dorm because of fire hazard...

dunno. but exeter wont even let u have bean bags due to fire hazard!

Andover does not allow irons in dorm rooms. They say that an iron/ironing board is available in each dorm's common room. (My information is just from the Andover Blue Book, their rule book. What students actually get away with I do not know).

Thanks :) Maybe I should read that... lol

oh. i just remembered. i think i read somewhere in the ebook (exeter) that flat irons aren't alowed in the dorms.

Like HAIR straightening irons? I've heard them called flat irons...

yeah.
tenchar

I am going to use laundry service. they will iron my clothes and do even dry cleaning.

yeah. no "hair straightening"/flat irons or bean bags 2 exeter. i reread that part of the ebook.

But I'm guessing people do it anyway...?

yeah, please say the 'no hair straighteners' is a rule commonly broken/not cared about!

This thread helps a lot! I am now packing to leave next QWednesday
for St. Mark's. Yes, it does help a lot. I might have missed a few important items.

I know a lot of my guy friends don't have wallets their pockets r a tad messy so to guys out there a wallet would be handy

...........

i just remembered. a key chain or lanyard. i know @ exeter u can buy them in the book store, but you need something to hold your student ID an dmusical instrument locker key.

Already have a long list, but something happened today that reminds me to let him have a EYE GLASS REPAIR KIT (tiny tiny screws and extra small size screw driver).
