Don’t think withdrawing application is an option at this point.
I won’t really think ill be losing much Infact UT would be losing me… I see it that way.
Tried to resist asking but can’t help it…what on earth would you prove or accomplish by withdrawing your application? Do you want to go to UT or not? Nobody has to commit to a college before May 1 anyway.
Can someone call the admissions committee to ask what time the decisions will start coming out.

@s16s18s21s25 well I have better schools to go to… if UT doesn’t respect a person’s time it doesn’t respect the person’s calibre that’s it. And everything isn’t done to prove or accomplish something. Some things are just done

Hows is that not respecting a person’s time? There are many schools that don’t notify until April. And it’s stated on their website so you should have known that, and not wasted your time applying if you didn’t want to wait until April for a decision. Regardless, if you have other schools, that’s great, do what makes you happy or reduces your frustration level. Good luck!

Well UT admission twitter kinda implied that it’s gonna be today… Dang I will just believe in today for the sake of my health lolol
Can someone else call just to be sure LOL IM DYING. Then why did the email originally posted say “all applicants should receive their decisions through MyStatus by this weekend.”

I just called the UT admission office and they said that the decisions would MOST LIKELY be released BY the weekend. On further inquiry, she even added that the process of uploading decisions has no guidelines and can be released any time, including today, tomorrow, and Sunday.
I believe we should just check our MyStatus page periodically rather than fretting over the decision date/time.
I think they posted that “today is not the day” on Wednesday and Thursday. They haven’t done that today yet. Also, one guy asked whether the decision is going to come out on Saturday or Sunday. And they replied that they might have an even better option.
Dang @pk2608 if you’re going to have such a negative attitude towards UT then ya might as well. You realize they soooo many domestic applicants go through first right? And that they’re pretty danged good school? So you can’t wait about one more month and bit that’s sad honestly withdrawing will do nothing for prove nothing.
Also I really hope/feel like it’s today. They’re saying by the weekend but they’re not open on weekends. So they’d have to go in to do so which seems odd. Also there’s always issues and calls they get afterwards I’m sure so they’d have to field those. Idk its so nervewracking haha.
