<p>I'm curious as to the living conditions for the apartments at UCSD. I heard there's no AC which..sucks but I'm wondering about anyone's experiences there? Also, how are like the dining halls next to it? Overall, I'm wondering if it's worth the experience or if I should just go off-campus housing.</p>
<p>I believe those apartments are new so it should be pretty nice. AC shouldnt be a problem since the weather is so good year-round here anyways. I only find on-campus housing to be worth it if you don’t know too many people at UCSD or all your friends are living here.</p>
<p>I find it very convenient to live on campus, considering my classes have been really spread out this year and it would have been a hassle to commute.
The dining halls aren’t good, in my opinion, but there is a Trader Joe’s/Ralph’s/CVS close to campus that you can take a bus to.
There is weekly cleaning of the apartments so you only have to keep your own room clean, which is good because you don’t have to worry about dividing up chores between all your roommates.</p>
