The War of the Supplementary Material: Slides vs. CD

Does anyone know if Yale accepts CD-ROMs as a usable format for art portfolios? I know on their website they state that they only want a maximum of twenty 35mm slides, but I cannot find a single place around my rural area that produces slides! It makes me wonder why such a university so prestigious and advanced in areas concerning research and technology would still be using equipment that's so obsolete.

Let me know what you guys think or have done in the past. All is appreciated!

u can order slides over the internet. That's usually how it's done. BTW, they use slides because slides show a more accurate representation and are much more detailed. CD depends on the resolution of the computer used, which sometimes can change ur art work.
