they've definitely made their decisions already!

Yale [which wont happen, but I'm friends with the basketball coach, who said he talked to admissions, you never know]
Brown
Cornell [legacy there]
NYU
Barnard
BU
Norhteastern
also, deferred from Columbia ED

Sorry about Columbia...hopefully you'll get accepted the second time around. I have two friends who were also deferred from Columbia ED w/ amazing stats, great extracurriculars, blah blah blah, so who knows. The legacy thing should help you out at Cornell--I have a friend who was accepted there ED. Btw, I also applied to NYU and BU.

cant log in either, its says:

"We're Sorry...

Shiba411: am from Massachusetts a small town in the north shore named Methuen

So.... to clarify:

Has ANYONE (RD) received an admissions decision?
Does anyone know when they're being sent?

CBA321: Look at what WayyyTooWorried has to say on the "Letters have started to go out!" thread...

Whoops, sorry!!! That was for BC (lol). Too many threads...

CBA321 i applied in RD an di got my letter today !!!!!!!!!!aaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! i got acepted lol am jumping arround lol , i dont know know if there sent all at once so there still some hope
good luck to all of you that still waiting i hope to see you all in campus next fall hugs !!!!AAAA!!!!! lol

actorf: thats SO awesome, good job!

where do you live?

in massachusetts in the northshore

If we applied RD can we still get merit aid or is it too late?

I'm guessing they're going to give most merit to earlier applicants.... but that's just my guess. Any other opinions?

Congrats, actorf! :) I wish they'd let the rest of us know if we're in or out. Did they simply send you a letter, or a folder of stuff?

CBA,

I think that there is still plenty of merit money left. But that money is going to go the people who really want to attend. So if you have high stats and Northeastern is your first choice, I suggest that you call the admissions office and tell them that you will definitely attend if they give you more aid.

shreegla
thanks , the send me a big envelope that says congratulations in big red print , when you open it has 2 letters of information and congratulations from the admission director , also am informational guide of step you need to do to enroll an the important dates
I hope you get yours soon.

did they send financial aid and scholarships too?

and btw.. what are your stats and what college/major did you apply to?

no ,but i just sent my verification worksheet 2 days ago
3.35 , biology major , college of arts and sciences (pre-med)

Congrats actorf, I found on through myneu.neu.edu as well only I applied early action so I was doing this in december ;-). I'm a biochemistry major here, planning on pre-med as well.

For everyone else, I'll tell my story to see if I can calm people down. I had heard about the creating a myneu.neu.edu account by reading last years threads so as soon as my boxes turned gray I immedietly tried to make an account and wasn't able to. I was VERY discouraged however about a week later the list of materials that they had recieved dissapeared and it said no further documents were required. I tried to make an account again and voila...it allowed me to make an account. 2 weeks later I got my decsion by mail.

Good luck everyone...my e-mail is gnomemage7@gmail.com if anyone has any questions...I remeber flipped out for weeks around this time so I feel your pain :-\

-Andrew

Thank you for that information Andrew. Hearing that has definately eased some of my worries haha.

I hope this was a similiar case for others that got accepted as well.

Thanks a lot, gnomemage7...that def. helped me calm down. I guess I should stop trying to create an account at myneu.neu.edu every 5 seconds. I'll just wait for the list of materials to disappear...
