There is a one-year academy prep program in Kerrville, TX where you earn college credit and prepare yourself in other ways to not only gain acceptance to an academy, but excel once you get there. Program takes both academy sponsored students and non-sponsored students.

Great alternative to going to your second choice college and trying again. Here you are under the leadership of a former USNA grad and professor. ALL students in the program are trying again and that’s the focus here.

We live in the Kerrville area and are familiar with the Greystone program. It is indeed excellent and has a very high success rate for people applying a second or even third time to the academies.

You should give this school a call just in case the wait list doesn't work out for you. Then you can jump right into action before the Class of 2008 fills up. Almost all of the students got into an academy from this year's class and some of those were not even wait listed last year.

It seems interesting enough, but does anyone know of some other prep schools out there.

I would be interested in some links just in case the wait list doesn't come through for me.
