You know thinking about the test or questions related to, or material/concepts related to the test, or techniques related to answering test questions/filling out answer sheets/doing tests in general is equivalent to studying.

Are you somehow insinuating that people who get 2400 are figments of our imagination?

I am insinuating that 2400 is an imaginary standard of perfection that doesn’t really matter.

That AND people who get 2400 don’t exist. Not in any meaningful way at least, like I said in an earlier post.

There are also a lot of masochistic people on here =/.

I guess people have invested so much into this whole getting-into-that-college thing that we sometimes forget to put things into perspective.

^but people who get 2400 do exist because about 200 ppl got 2400 last year ={}

CCers aren’t really people in my mind.

^You are a CCer though:/ lol
I think they are people, I just envy some of them to a certain extent…

*excluding me. haha.

But seriously it’s hard to believe people on here are just that … people! I don’t know, it’s pretty hard to explain.

No, I know what you mean. You think, how can these people have social lives? lol Is this even possible? How can you take 20 AP classes? You are insane!
I think they just have good time management skills? haha If only I could further develop my time management skills…

CC’ers definitely are not people. I am the only human on this board. It’s science!

You’re confused.

No, trust me. I’m a real person. You’re stuck in the matrix.

One time I mentioned my 3.0 GPA and someone told me to stop ■■■■■■■■ because “some kids actually are unfortunate enough to have 3.0 GPA’s and they don’t deserve to be made fun of.”

I don’t think that person realized that I AM one of “those kids.” Is anything under a 3.5 really “too low to be true?”

It’s just annoying.

Whatever you say, but I still refuse to believe people on here are real people. You’re all robots or something in my mind.

^^

lol!

Ironically, I think it is true that a certain level of intelligence is necessary to be stupid.

I get irked by how sloppy the posts can be on here, and how juvenile debates tend to be. Yes, we’re a bunch of high schoolers, but we’re also a bunch of high schoolers who are college bound; and not just to the local state university, but are shooting for the Ivy League. Despite this, threads are full of ad hominems and insults, tapped out in incoherent prose that fails to respect spelling, grammar, and every other lexical convention we hold dear. Anyone who is serious about going to a top school ought to be able to post about and discuss issues cogently and coherently.

Again, welcome to the Internet.

This thread is the most solipsistic thing I’ve seen in a while.

The belief that normal people who don’t take honors/APs are stupid

I completely agree.

“what do the STUPID kids take for math at your school?!?”
This title aggravates me so much.
