Hey, me and my friend are really debating whether or not to drop this AP govt course. We are worried we're gonna end up getting C's in the class. This is a second semester senior course, so we're wondering if colleges are going to notice if we drop down from AP Govt to regular US Govt. The class is overly challenging to our abilities, so we're seriously considering dropping out....we need your advice....thanks

Trust me.
you can do it.
It's all motivation.
If you're saying it's too hard already, you're not really letting yourself explore the possibilities.
I took AP Govt. in high school; and it was super hard. I ended up w/ a B (which I thought I was going to get an D).
Just believe in yourself. I know I sound pathetic, but you just gotta try your best. :P]
I had a wack teacher that didn't know how to teach.
If you have a good teacher, go for it! take it :P lol

Sorry but I find AP Gov pretty easy. Try reading each chapter at least twice before the test on it and get the online notes. All you really need for that class is to memorize the book. :) works for me.
P.S. helps not to have a social life. haha

...you didn't really ask a question, either drop the class or work harder, theres not a whole lot else we can say. If you want us to let you know how it might effect college than let us know what colleges you want to attend and how your stats rank in comparison to the college. If you're a shoe in to the public school, it wont make a difference dropping it. If you applied to harvard and are a long shot but it's your dream school, yeah you should probably work harder.

id stick with it. its good practice for harder college courses.

The class was very easy for us. That must have just been our teacher though. But the AP test was also the easiest I took, so you can do it.
