Hey guys,
so I’m a community college freshman and in spring I’m thinking of taking 19 units. Now the problem is that my classes are split between 3 different colleges and I’m going to be working too. The classes I’m definitely going to take:
-C programming (3)
-English 102 (3)
-Physics: mechanics (calc based) (4)
-Multivariable Calculus (5)
The class I’m thinking of adding on:
-Molecular and Cellular Biology (4)
Now I was thinking of taking bio instead of calc, but I thought I shouldn’t skip a semester between math classes. The matter at hand is whether I take Bio now or wait and take it in summer with General Chemistry I (6).
Thanks guys!
What a terrible idea. Do you understand that there are no do overs on your transcripts? They will stay with you for any transfer college in your future and grad school too. So the chances for flaming out with such a schedule running between locations and working are high, and the repercussions can be severe. I is sad to see people come here when they are not in compliance with SAP and get suspended from aid. Stick to the 15 units which already is plenty, you won’t be able to see how you can handle the schedule, everything might be fine until after the drop period when you have midterms and papers due all at once. Same problem with taking a 6 unit class and a 4 unit class over summer. Pace yourself until you have proven yourself.
edit: and I just notice you put this in the wrong forum, try College Life, this one is to report forum problems etc.
Oh ok cool…thanks for the advice
