third sat subject test

My younger brother is in a dilemma, Last June ,he took Math L2 (scored 800) , Literature (scored 800)
He wants to take one more subject test.
The question is World History OR Physics . He took a diagnostic test (I proctored him!) and both scores were 800.
What would you reccomend to add as a third subject test?
Math L2 , Literature , WORLD HISTORY

OR

Math L2 ,Literature, PHYSICS

I am really stuck with this question, I want to help the little "bastard" he is driving me and my parents "crazy" with this.

Basically what would be viewed as better by admission officers a high score in World history or Physics?

Whichever subject is more in line with his intended career choice is the one he should do. In the eyes of the admissions officer, it won’t matter either way

If he’s applying to MIT, he needs to take a science.

(that’s the only one I can think of off the top of my head that requires a science subject test)

Doubt that helps, but just a heads up. haha. I’m sure you’re probably aware of all of what I just said though…

If he doesn’t prefer either subject, I would recommend that he takes Physics for two reasons. Firstly, it has a better curve, which increases his chances of getting an 800 for the real test. Secondly, if he takes Physics, he has a broader range of subjects.

physics ftw

Thanks everyone, my brother decided to go with the Physics test, he signed up today for December 5th test date.

yay good choice

Wh has a better curve than physics I think. Why not take both? He got 800s so it’s not like he has to study

Onemoretime! On WH you can skip 15-20 questions and still get a 800, on Physics you can skip 10-12 questions and still get a 800.So yes WH has a better curve. But my brother already has a perfect SAT Reasoning score and two perfect SAT Subject scores. He will add one more Sat Subject test score only because he is applying to Harvard.Let’s face it , having 4 or even 5 ,6, 7 SAT Subject scores will not get anyone to Harvard . In his case 3 strong scores + gpa ,recs , and he has a good chance.Look at my stats from last year in this thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/harvard-university/608631-harvard-class-2013-a.html</a>

I got rejected by Harvard , but was accepted by Yale,Columbia and Julliard. I chose Yale.
