This forum is depressing. Let's hear some success stories.

I'm pretty tired of reading about people who score 2350s on the SAT and getting rejected from selective schools. Anybody with happy stories?

I'll start: My friend got into Columbia with SAT < 1300/1600, and barely in the top 10% of the graduating class.

Oh....there are tens of thousands of students each year who have marvelous grades, decent SAT's 1200 and up....1400 and up....., outstanding young adults with excellent EC's and recommendations and hundreds of hours of volunteer time or gifted musicians who DONT apply to the top name schools or Ivy League and get accepted, often with scholarship money, to 2nd tier schools and are very, very happy. They will become successful in life and make a substantial contribution to society. And that is the really good news. I hope you are one of them!

PMA:I'm going to attribute the lack of responses to the idea that the success stories are done using CC, not to the idea that none exist.
