<p>I’m a guy. I initially didn’t bring my favorite stuffed animal since I didn’t really need it. However, when I arrived, my roommate had his teddy bear, and I felt left out. So, I brought mine the next time I went home.</p>

<p>I know people who are in theirs 40s who still have their favorite stuffed animals. As long as you’re not being ridiculous about it (i.e. bringing it to class and work), there’s no shame in bringing a stuffed animal.</p>

<p>Anyone who makes fun of you for having a stuffed animal has serious issues themselves and probably needs their favorite teddy bear much more than you do!</p>

<p>I’m a guy and I brought my stuffed shar pei “sharpy” that I’d had my whole life with me my freshman year, mainly for moral support. Needless to say, it spent the entire 9 months at the bottom of a drawer in my desk and never saw the light of day or got the love and attention it deserved. Then when I unpacked after moving back home for the summer I couldn’t find it :(</p>
