This may be a bit funny

my gpa is very weird. i’ve gotten all A’s in all my AP classes (taken 7 so far), however I’ve got several more B’s in pre-ap and honors classes, id say about 5 or so. furthermore, i’m an AP scholar with honors and my final gpa should be around a 3.7 with a 4.7 weighted. i know i should have worked harder in my pre-ap’s but i’ve technically gotten a 4.0 (6.0 for that matter) in all “college classes” and tests. can i still get in because:

-2250 on SAT, planning on retaking for hopefully 2300+
-Top 10% in class
-National Merit Semi-Finalist
-excellent extracurriculars
-very good recommendations
-excellent essays
-took 3 week mini course at brown
-BIG ENTHUSIASM!!! im planning on applying ED

basically what i’m asking is: do colleges like brown care more about pre-ap grades than AP grades???

thanks for any help. im seriously freaking out but please be honest.

Why would you re-take the SAT with a 2250 (unless one particular score was very low?)

Don't sweat the GPA thing too much, since you're in the top 10% of your class. If your application is really good otherwise, you should be ok.
