I mean how can professors give you midterms on **** you've never covered??? uhhhhh
maybe im just stressed out cuz its midterm season but seriously...do you guys ever feel like just givie up?

yeah this school is no joke. everyone was top of their class in HS. i wish it was as easy as other places, but they want to "challenge" us.

i've already given up at life :D

don't give up....pray for the curve to save you :D

The curve can also kick you in the ass.

Its midterm season....? It's the 8th week......Is there some difference in the definition of mid-terms between faculties?

I have had midterms every week 3-9 ... wouldn't be surprised even if there was one week 10 too.

i think professor selection is HUGE when it comes to getting good grades. (Of course that's aside from the "studying hard" part)

i have an exam week 10. it's not called a midterm, but it may as well be

You're taking 7 courses?

some classes have 2 midterms...and when its staggered..well there you go

More study, less complain??

haha, are you serious? UCLA is totally a joke. I always ended up being the top of the class with barely minimal efforts. UCLA, I repeat, is a joke. And you know what? I will be matriculating at UC Berkeley law school this Fall. Hopefully, I will be challenged there. But UCLA kids? not very smart, period.

^ If UCLA was such a joke, why couldn't you get into a better law school such as Harvard or Yale? I'm surprised you even made it into Boalt with your dismal grammar.

hahahahaha @ this zheng guy.

you were also a "UCLA kid" right?

I am a UCLA kid, but I am an exception to the rule. If somebody is a UCLA kid, then the odds are overwhelming that he is not vert smart. Me being smart doesnt challenge the generalization that UCLA people are by and large not impressive. Btw, I got into Boalt with minimal efforts and that is the difference between me and people who have no chance to get in no matter how hard they try. The vast majority of ucla kids, unfortunately, fall into the latter category. UCLA, I repeat, is a joke.

someone please tell me he's being sarcastic.

Please tell me this is a joke. There is no possible way you could have gotten in with this low mastery of logic and language. I smell a troll, a very smelly one.

yahooo, pinpoint exactly the place where I registered a low mastery of logic and language. Be specific.

vega, I am telling you the truth and the truth can sometimes be hurtful.
