Son has been told by our senator's office that an appointment is on the way this week. Dodmerb status confirms!

I have an LOA, a principal nom, and am 3 Q'd. The last thing I got was the medical status update- and my BGO said this was updated on the USNA page two days ago. How long does it usually take for this to reflect on DoDMERB or how long will it take the Academy to recognize that I have everything for an appointment? ( sorry I didn't mean it to sound arrogant if it came off that way)

Received my LOA back in October, nom in November, and it FINALLY came through on my status page.....big envelope on the way??? GO NAVY!

I have a question about the nomination/appointment process:

From what I understand, if a Senator/Rep submits a slate without ranking or designating any of those who were nominated, all candidates mentioned on the slate must complete their application for anyone on the slate to be reviewed, correct?

I say this because all of the Navy nominees were recognized by the Rep at city hall last Sunday, and though 2 West Pointers had received appointments, none of the 20 Navy people who were nominated (2 open spots) have been offered appointments or LOAd.

I was told at a regional briefing that the academy has to wait for everyone on a slate to finish the application before they can select an appointee from that slate.
