I 24 and considering going to Thomas Edison State College for Liberal Arts(I can finish it the quickest). Is it a respected school or will a potential employer likely look it up and gasp when they see “Online University”. Also if I get a Liberal Arts degree keep high grades take the GMATS and score well, is there any chance of getting into a solid MBA program from here?
It’s a regionally accredited state university, no different from Slippery Rock State (in PA.) Your employers will probably be impressed that you got your goal (bachelor’s degree) using a minimum of resources (time and money.)
Of course, you can get into a solid MBA program with a degree from there.
If you feel the luster of your undergraduate degree needs to be bolstered, register as a non-degree student in the MBA program of your choice. Then get As and change to a regular degree seeking status. You will have proven you have what it takes to do the work at “X” MBA school.
