I am looking at online MBA programs, does anyone know any good online mba’s offered by large state schools? I know of Indiana University, University of Nebraska Lincoln, and Auburn University, and I think Penn State; but I was wondering if anyone knew of any others.
I don’t think doing MBA online is better to a successful career also it is difficult to trust on an online degree. I always suggest to go for a regular degree.
lehm, you want to look for AACSB accreditation. Most online MBA programs have orientation and immersion weeks on campus as well. I think donnawhite is stuck in the old days where everyone was leary of online degrees. It is not “difficult to trust” any online MBA program if it is AACSB accredited. You get the same degree as the full time MBA students at each school. The only disadvantage you have is networking, however, the immersion weeks and keeping in touch with your classmates helps that.
Some other programs that I know of (there are alot) are:
University of Texas-Dallas
Arizona State
UMASS
Florida
These are all ranked programs. There are many more that are not ranked (UNT, Texas A&M-Commerce) etc.
Check out Columbia College There are also a lot of students that are taking online classes there (10,000+), which proves that their online programs are of high quality, but it is also backed by a real university with a main campus located in Columbia, Mo. They are regionally accredited and offer a high-quality, affordable MBA degree.
