Thornton Music Industry major

<p>A question for a friend: the student has applied to the BM Music Industry major as a freshman for fall, 2011. Does anyone here have info on the admission path for this major? </p>

<p>This degree (BM) includes performance and requires a prescreen taped audition submission. If someone here is familiar with the admission process for MI BM, is there typically an in-person audition? There are prescreen, then live auditions for other performance majors at Thornton, but the family has questions about this particular path. I said I'd ask here on cc!</p>
