I'm just curious, are you staying on campus(dorming, apts)?
Renting an apartment off-campus?
Or staying home and van-pooling?
Or commute with your own car/bus whatever ways possible..

Just being nosy :p

^ Are you not curious about the UCB people?

I see how it is :(

Staying at Home
Live <2 miles away so will be commuting by car/bus.

PLan to take classes at local cc at the same time.

Off-campus University Apartments (Glenrock West)
I'm bringing my car, but i'm going to do a whole lot of walking (i'm assuming that i won't be granted parking).

i am taking summer courses here and i am staying in the dorms (Rieber Hall)

Renting off campus somewhere

stayin in co-ops

Cardinal:
:p

You said that you're going to stay in a studio! Or are you still?

highschoolda: you live so close! But yeah probably a hassle to walk there. I about 20 miles away from UCLA.

it's about 45 mins to walk. depending on the location of the class since UCLA is damn large.

I have a friend who commutes from Glendale to UCLA, sounds like hell, also because he has to take the notorious 405 south to get there, from the 134. He said he leaves at 6am, goes through traffic, parks, walks to his class that takes 45 minutes to walk to, and enters his class that starts at 10:30am

audstopper: how much are those off-campus university apartments?

leaves at 6am? how could he be cutting it so close when leaving at that time?!

Something isn't right.

well he said 6 something. I really have no idea, that's what he told me. But traffic on the 405, is like, terribly, it never moves.. hardly anyway

well if he left at like 515, he could probably beo n campus by 6am and then study until 10.

there is no traffic at like 5 ish.

when i drove up from san diego, i left at 4 am and got on campus at 7 am, i made like 1 stop and i drive 65.

You drove from SD to UCLA??? EVERYDAY?!

:O

lol no just for the orienation.

Okay I was gonna ask how much milleage your car has already. lol. That would really be a killer if someone does actually do that everyday, 4am mornings..

I thought traffic was VERY reasonable up until around 7:30 ?

I have no idea. That's what he told me.
And if I were to ever commute, I would be taking the 10 freeway.
