<p>Found out today that the odds of getting into their BFA program is pretty good. 20-22 kids audition and they take 16. Not bad odds.</p>
<p>But then you start to wonder about a program that has only 20-22 kids wanting to audition for it… It’s always something, isn’t it? ;-)</p>
<p>I believe that these are auditions by current Hofstra theater students sophomore year to move into the BFA program, not an initial audition.</p>

<p>Yes 45-50 kids in the freshman BA program and 20-22 audition for the 16 BFA slots as sophomores.</p>
<p>What happens to the students not accepted? Do they stay in the B.A. program?</p>

<p>I wonder how many apply vs how many get in, that is the number you need for the first round. If you want a drama scholarship, I think you have to audition.</p>
