Thoughts for early action?

<p>I’m currently a junior.
SAT: 2170 (CR:730 M:660 W:780)
Haven’t taken subject tests yet, took sat 1 again in May (waiting for results)
GPA: 97.83 UW (school does not use 4.0 scale)
Rank: 11/342
Course load: junior (AP US History, AP Macro, AP Micro (self studied), AP Lang.</p>

<p>Senior: AP Gov, AP Euro, AP CalcAB, AP Lit.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Band: Euphonium- First chair, treasurer (11), made regionals (10,11, first chair 11)
Marching band: Drum major (12)
Jazz Band
Co-founded/copresident of a political debate club(10,11,12). Meets weekly to casually/openly debate current events.
Peer Leaders: travel to elementary schools to help with younger children (10,11,12)
Econ Team (11,12) Captain 12, won several known competitions
Various honor societies.
Student council: cabinet 9,10 Delegate, 11</p>

<p>Volunteer: Taught weekly CCD class (10,11)
Various other hours.</p>

<p>I think you look pretty good for EA. Only suggestion would be to try to improve the Math SAT, but everything else looks solid</p>

<p>Your should be fine. Remember, BC doesn’t have EA. It has Single Choice Early Action. So you can apply to anywhere else that is ED or SCEA </p>

<p>Actually Living61, BC is Restrictive Early Action not Single Choice Early Action which means that you can apply to any rolling, ED II or Early action schools.</p>

<p>While I think what @jpd211 wrote appears strong, looking through the BC decision threads for past years you’ll see some with similar profiles who did not get accepted, as well as many with less strong profiles who did get accepted.</p>
