I read a lot of reviews on books. So far from these reviews I bought the Rocket Review Book, Grammatix and the college board blue book. Recently I came across the Mcgraw-Hills Increase Your Score in 3 Minutes a Day: SAT Series. Both Increase Your Score in 3 Minutes a Day: SAT Essay and Increase Your Score in 3 Minutes a Day: SAT Critical Reading recieved high ratings, AN AVERAGE OF FIVE STARS. You don't have to take by word for it. Check out the reviews from Amazon.com

What I want to know is, students who are in college confidential, did you benefit from the book? Did Your Score improve significantly? How much did your score improve from using this book? Would you recommend this book to students who need to score at least a 2100+ on the SAT in less than 3 months?

I'm sorry to say I am guaranteeing that you will be disappointed by that book. It is probably the most useless thing I have ever seen.... It's small and is all common sense advice.

Like I said before, it's for people with a 1000 SAT trying to raise it to a 1010.

i dont want you to disappoint you, but this book is no good. yes, the reviews are good, but isn't it a possibility that McGraw-Hill hired those people to make "good" reviews? there is no accomodation for good reading. so i suggest taking out a book and read it with good comprehension.

The reviews, now that I read them carefully, sound way too cheesy to be real... It seems like one person wrote them all under different names and stories.
